OVERVIEW
Ever since the invention of money, people have had a need to know
“what am I spending my money on?” It turns out that the ability to answer that
question really well (in the right ways) can make a business much more
competitive. As organizations increasingly automate their sourcing and
procurement and cross-enterprise processes, it generates enormous amounts of
detailed electronic data. This opens up huge opportunities for using analytics
to improve an enterprise’s performance. Challenges abound in doing this,
but technologies, practices, and services have come a long way in recent years.
This seminar is designed to help your organization assess its readiness, find
out the different ways spend analytic tools are being used, understand the
spend analysis process and available tools, and learn from what others have
done. What we will cover:
- Organizational
ReadinessWhat systems and processes must be in place to support a spend
analytics program, including the various types and sources of data, data
cleanliness disciplines, tools, and organizational dynamics. How an
organization’s maturity informs their ability and strategy to conduct
analytics. - Sourcing
